Abstract:The subfamily Ticoplinae is Afrotropical, Oriental and Palaearctic in distribution with six species in two genera (Eosmicromyrmilla Lelej & Krombein, 2001 and Hindustanilla Lelej in Lelej & Krombein, 2001) known from the Oriental Region. Two new species, E. subbuka sp. nov., and E. balakrishnani sp. nov. were recently discovered in India (Western Ghats).
