New techniques for the processing and analysis of telemetry and trajectory information on the basis of achievements in the realm of time-frequency analysis and wavelet theory

Abstract

The present paper is concerned with the issues of processing telemetry and trajectory measure ments obtained as a result of complex systems functioning. We illustrate the concept "complex systems" with the help of complex dynamic objects. The methods of processing which are introduced in the following are based on the most advanced and updated techniques in the areas of time frequency analysis, wavelet theory, and other adaptive approaches. Special attention is drawn to the problem of signal preprocessing, which is always crucial in practice.
