Newt regeneration genes regulate Wingless signaling to restore patterning in Drosophila eye

Abstract: Summary Newts utilize their unique genes to restore missing parts by strategic regulation of conserved signaling pathways. Lack of genetic tools poses challenges to determine the function of such genes.
