Nickel Hypersensitivity: A General Review on Clinical Aspects and Potential Co-Morbidities

Abstract: Allergic contact hypersensitivity to metals is a delayed-type allergy. Although various metals are able to induce an allergic reaction, nickel is the most frequent cause of metal allergy worldwide.
