Nitric oxide signaling in the ischemic postconditioning of human heart muscle (RCD code: III)

Abstract: Background: Ischemic heart conditioning is well documented to trigger the intrinsic protective mechanisms of resistance against ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury.
