Abstract

2005Carboxylic acids Q 0420Nitroarene-Catalyzed Oxidation with Sodium Percarbonate or Sodium Perborate as the Terminal Oxidant. -An oxidation method for the moderately efficient oxidation of aryl methyl ketones to benzoic acid is discussed.
