Abstract:Mitosis is a critical stage in the cell cycle, controlled by a vast network of regulators responding to multiple internal and external factors. The fission yeast Schizosaccharomyces pombe may demonstrate catastrophic mitotic phenotypes due to mutations or drug treatments.
