Nitrophenyl Esterase Activity in Renin Preparations

Abstract: CBZ amino acid p-nitrophenyl esters are excellent substrates for (a) a commercially available renin preparation, (b) a purified hog renin sample and (c) the World Health Organization standardized human renin.
