Abstract:Clustering protocols for underwater acoustic sensor networks (UASNs) have gained widespread attention due to their importance in reducing network complexity. Congestion occurs when the intra-cluster load is greater than the upper limit of the intra-cluster information transmission capacity, which leads to a dramatic deterioration of network performance despite the reduction of network complexity. To avoid congestion, we propose a node load and location-based clustering protocol for UASNs (LLCP). First, a node … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
