Nodular Fasciitis and Myxolipoma of the Larynx

Abstract: Nodular fasciitis (NF) is a peculiar, rapid-growing soft tissue lesion, typically appearing in subcutaneous tissue. 20% of NF occur in the head and neck region, where they can involve any anatomic site. Laryngeal involvement, however, is quite rare. On the contrary, Lipoma is recognized as a slow growing, benign mesenchymal tumour.
