Noise of semiconductor gas sensors in response to a sharp change in the composition of the gaseous phase

Abstract: UDC 621.391We reveal the retarded relaxation of the current-noise power in semiconductor gas sensors compared with the relaxation of their resistance in response to a sharp change in the composition of the gaseous phase. Conditions for the optimal observation of this phenomenon are determined and its qualitative model is proposed.
