Abstract:Noito is a woman from the south of the margins. To fl ee from the civil war in Angola, she brings to the island of Mussulo, with her orality and life, culture, traditions and the ecology of many other knowledges. It is also about her identity as an African and Angolan woman. A work of post-coloniality, enunciation of spaces and times of Africa which gives a sociological account of the fi rst 22 years of independence of Angola. It remains a contemporary work of literature.
