Abstract:Gamma-terpinene (γ-TPN) is a cyclohexane monoterpene, isolated from essential oils of pharmacologically active plant species, such as tea tree (Melaleuca alternifolia), oregano (Origanum vulgare), rosemary (Rosmarinus o cinalis L.), thyme (Thymus vulgaris Marchand) and eucalyptus (Eucalyptus sp.).
