Non-equilibrium thermodynamics in f(R, T) gravity and dark energy

Abstract:Modifying general relativity may be a suitable approach to solve the dark energy problem. Among the various theories of modified gravity, we consider the f(R, T) gravity, in which R is the Ricci scalar and T is the trace of the energy-momentum tensor.
