Abstract: Non-invasive neurally-adjusted ventilatory assist (NIV-NAVA) improves patient-ventilator synchrony and reduces treatment failure in preterm infants compared with nasal continuous positive airway pressure (NCPAP) and non-invasive positive-pressure ventilation (NIPPV).
