Non‐linear modelling and stability analysis of the PTGS at pump mode

Abstract: For the sake of studying the stability of the pumped storage power station, the authors focused on the mathematical modelling of the pump-turbine governing system (PTGS) at pump mode. First of all, six transfer coefficients were introduced into the model of the pump-turbine. Furthermore, utilising the internal characteristics formulas, they obtained six analytical expressions of the transfer coefficients at pump mode. Considering the elastic water-hammer model of the penstock with hydraulic friction and the se… Show more

“…Extended studies of hydromechanical processes occurring in the working channel of a magnetic peristaltic pump can be performed by conducting a computational experiment or with the help of a carefully designed physical experiment [6][7][8][9][10][11][12]. However, phenomena of practical interest accompanying the process of moving a heterogeneous flow through a channel of variable cross section are characterized by multidimensionality, nonstationarity, and the presence of boundary layers, which makes the implementation of comprehensive physical modeling very difficult.…”

“…In order to make full use of the information from the curves, the Lagrange interpolation algorithm of double variables-three points form is adopted to solve the treated curves, as shown in Equation (11). z(x, y) is unknown points, i.e., W H and W M, x p -x p+2 and y q -y q+2 are relative flow angles and guide vane openings in the interpolation area.…”

“…e research and development of the emulsion pump station and rock drill started in 1972, but it was not until 1998 that Wang et al presided over the research and development of the emulsion pump station with automatic function and achieved a series of fruitful results [7]. Since then, Kim et al have continued to make progress in this field and persisted in exploration [8].…”
