Non-melanoma skin cancer: An evaluation of risk in terms of ultraviolet exposure

Abstract: A retrospective study of 143 patients histologically diagnosed with non-melanoma skin cancer (NMSC) was carried out in order to evaluate the influence of ultraviolet (UV) radiation on the appearance of more than one NMSC in the same person. Descriptive statistical and logistic regression analyses were carried out for each variable and its possible interaction, in order to determine the potential appearance of multiple NMSC.
