Abstract:Abstract-This paper proposes an algorithm for speech enhancement by non-negative tensor factorisation. We group adjacent time-frequency matrices in the spectrograms together to form a tensor as a basic input in our algorithm. The non-negative tensor factorisation is followed to perform sound source separation between speeches and noises. The proposed strategy benefits from both short time spectral analysis and long term information. From the consideration of auditory theory and linguistics, the latter preserve… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
