Abstract:Non-pneumophila Legionella species are rare atypical bacterial pathogens that are responsible for a minority of Legionnaires' disease cases. Compared to Legionella pneumophila, they are more likely to infect immunosuppressed patients, such as those undergoing treatment for hematological cancers.
