Non‑syndromic first case of pediatric rhabdomyosarcoma originating from the umbilical left medial ligament: A case report

Abstract: Rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS) is the most common soft-tissue sarcoma in children. The present study reports the case of a 2-year-old female who presented with abdominal pain and a palpable abdominal mass. Radiological investigations failed to reveal the tissue origin of the mass and a tru-cut biopsy confirmed the diagnosis of embryonal RMS.
