Abstract: Liver cirrhosis is a condition characterized by the gradual development of liver fibrosis and the disruption of hepatic lobules. Patients who have decompensated cirrhosis face a significant risk of severe complications, including ascites, esophageal varices, liver failure, and hepatocellular carcinoma.
