Nonlinear harmonic imaging of solids

Abstract: Nonlinear ultrasonics has been shown to be sensitive to small scale damage and microstructural changes in solids. However, measuring the nonlinearity parameter of a solid requires complex calibrations and point-by-point measurements using contact transducers.
