Abstract:This article theoretically examines the effect of various variables on the second harmonic generation (SHG) coefficients of cylindrical GaAs/Ga1–ηAlηAs quantum dots. The iterative approach and the compact‐density matrix method have been utilized to determine the expression of the SHG coefficient. The outcomes demonstrate that the variation of the SHG coefficient is closely related to structural parameters, external conditions, and incident photon energy.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
