Nonlinear Polarization Dynamics of VCSEL with Frequency Comb Injection

Abstract: We propose a new approach of broad frequency comb generation by exploiting the polar- ization dynamics in a VCSEL induced by parallel frequency comb injection. Polarization mode competition leads to two tunable combs with orthogonal polarization.
