Abstract:From the perspectives of elastoplasticity (nontime-dependent) and viscoelasticity (time-dependent), the Ramberg-Osgood relation and time-varying viscosity Maxwell (TVM) models were used to model and analyze the stress-strain behavior of cotton fabric-reinforced polypropylene composites (CFRLs), respectively. The Ramberg-Osgood relation could well describe the tensile behavior of CFRLs as an elastoplastic behavior, while the tensile behavior could also be described as a nonlinear viscoelasticity behavior by Max… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
