Nonsurgical Management of an Electrical Burn of the Scalp

Abstract: The remarkable regenerative capability of the scalp reduces the need for skin grafting in electrical burns of this area. We report on a deep 7.5 cm electrical burn of the scalp which healed completely under conservative management with 20% urea compresses, benzoyl peroxide gel, and systemic erythromycin.
