RESUMOA cultura do feijoeiro tem grande importância para o Estado de Goiás, Brasil. No entanto, informações relacionadas aos padrões nutricionais para condições irrigadas são carentes na região. Os objetivos deste trabalho foram estabelecer padrões foliares, avaliar o estado nutricional do feijoeiro irrigado na região do Vale do Rio dos Bois, no Estado de Goiás, pelos métodos da faixa de suficiência (FS), da diagnose da composição nutricional (CND) e do sistema integrado de diagnose e recomendação (DRIS), bem como comparar os procedimentos de diagnóstico por meio de padrões nutricionais locais. Avaliaram-se a produtividade e a concentração foliar de 55 lavouras de feijoeiro na região do Vale do Rio dos Bois, entre 2010 e 2012. As amostras foram coletadas no estádio R5 (período de floração) e analisadas quanto aos teores totais de N, P, K, Ca, Mg, S, B, Cu, Fe, Mn e Zn. As 55 amostras foram divididas em dois grupos, sendo o primeiro de baixa produtividade, com rendimento abaixo de 2.700 kg ha -1 ; e o segundo de alta produtividade, com rendimento igual ou acima de 2.700 kg ha -1 , este último originando os padrões nutricionais. Normas CND e DRIS são mais indicadas para avaliação nutricional do feijoeiro irrigado comparativamente a FS estimada neste trabalho. Manganês, P e B são os elementos que mais limitam a produção nas lavouras de baixa produtividade na região do Vale do Rio dos Bois.Termos de indexação: análise foliar, diagnose foliar, nutrientes, Phaseolus vulgaris.

Univariate methods for diagnosing nutritional status such as the sufficiency range and the critical level for garlic crops are very susceptible to the effects of dilution and accumulation of nutrients. Therefore, this study aimed to establish bivariate and multivariate norms for this crop using the Diagnosis and Recommendation Integrated System (DRIS) and Nutritional Composition Diagnosis (CND), respectively. The criteria used were nutritional status and the sufficiency range, and then the diagnoses were compared. The study was performed in the region of Alto Paranaíba, MG, Brazil, during the crop seasons 2012 and 2013. Samples comprised 99 commercial fields of garlic, cultivated with the cultivar "Ito" and mostly established in Latossolo Vermelho-Amarelo Distrófico (Oxisol). Copper and K were the nutrients with the highest number of fields diagnosed as limiting by lack (LF) and limiting by excess (LE), respectively. The DRIS method presented greater tendency to diagnose LF, while the CND tended towards LE. The sufficiency range of both methods presented narrow ranges in relation to those suggested by the literature. Moreover, all ranges produced by the CND method provided narrower ranges than the DRIS method. The CND method showed better performance than DRIS in distinguishing crop yield covered by different diagnoses. Turning to the criterion of evaluation, the study found that nutritional status gave a better performance than sufficiency range in terms of distinguishing diagnoses regarding yield.

The study was conducted for three consecutive years (2011/2012 to 2013/2014) to evaluate the growth and production of banana (Robusta variety) with different water harvesting structure in Daro Labu districts of Oda Leku peasant association. The water harvesting structures used as treatments were semi-circular bund with and without mulch, negarim micro catchment with and without mulch and normal pit with and without mulch (control). The treatments were laid out in randomized complete block design on three farms as a replication. The data on yield, number of fingers, survival rate/6 month, number of sucker/2 years, plant height, and area coverage/1 year and 9 months were collected. The statistical analysis revealed that there was no significant difference (p>0.05) among treatments on survival rate, number of sucker, plant height, and area coverage but there was a highly significant variation (p<0.01) among treatments on yield and number of fingers. The means of plant height, area coverage and number of sucker on semicircular bund with mulch and negarim micro catchment with mulch were better than the structures without mulch and control. Both structures are therefore recommended with mulch for banana production in moisture stress areas and similar agro-ecologies.
