Cortez et al (20) conducted a retrospective study covering 2005 to 2009, to evaluate congenital malformations found in the city of Recife, and observed that 5% (12 children) presented trigger finger, and that surgery was indicated in all these cases. Likewise, in a study published by Fukushima et al (21) , surgical treatment was performed on 25 children aged one to six years, without any attempt to implement conservative treatment prior to this.…”
