Nostalgia, Expulsion and the Poetic I: The Poetics of Diaspora in the Corpus Theognideum

Abstract: In the anthology of archaic elegiac poetry called the Corpus Theognideum, the poetic I often eludes traditional approaches to the ‘poetic authority’.
