(Not) Hosting Refugees in the EU. Philosophical Perspectives on the 2015-2016 Crisis

Abstract: Were the EU's actions in terms of refugee hosting during the 2015-2016 crisis morally acceptable? This paper describes those actions and evaluates them from the points of view of philosophers who specialize in the field of asylum ethics, such as Joseph Carens, Matthew Gibney, or David Miller, among others.
