Abstract:Sexual and gender minority (SGM) people are underrepresented in psychological research—including personality and relationship sciences. Part of this underrepresentation likely stems from potential participants’ unwillingness to join a study, but more concerningly, researchers explicitly exclude data from SGM participants.
