Dikov notes that in robber flies the antennae are located in the dorsal half of the head [2]; in 2012, we showed that, in the species Eremodromus noctivagus Zimin, 1926, the antennae are located in the ventral half of the head [34], which is a unique state of this trait in the Asilidae family. We carried out molecular genetic studies of the species Eremodromus gracilis (Paramonov, 1930), which made it possible to understand the place of the genus Eremodromus in the subfamily Stichopogoninae.…”
