Notes - Organometallic Reactions of ψ-Fluoroalkyllithium Compounds

Abstract: the appropriate chlorinated phenol (0.2 mole) was refluxed for 8 hr. The reaction mixture was then cooled to 25°and slowly reheated to reflux under reduced pressure (10-15 mm.) for 4 hr. to remove the last traces of hydrogen chloride and thus complete the reaction.
