Abstract:Aims:
Snakebites are a health problem worldwide that produce pathological symptoms, as hemorrhage, tissue necrosis, blood coagulation disorder, edema, and death. Although serum therapy protects victims of death, it does not prevent amputation of the affected limb. Thus, alternative treatments deserve attention.
