Abstract:Introduction
Simultaneous pancreas kidney (SPK) transplantation is an inestimable procedure to enhance the quality of life of insulin-dependent patients with advanced renal disease. The creation of vascular anastomoses of the donor’s pancreas vessels to the recipient’s, is of utmost importance to predict the graft prognosis and surgical complications.
