Novel axial compressive endoprosthesis ACE can enhance metaphyseal fixation and facilitate osseointegration: A biomechanical study

Abstract: Background: Metaphyseal fixation for endoprosthetic reconstruction after bone tumor resection is difficult due to the short residual bone length and reverse funnel shape of the metaphysis.
