Novel Blade Design and Performance Evaluation of a Single-Stage Savanious Horizontal Water Turbine

Abstract: A type of micro-hydropower turbine known Savanious horizontal water turbine operates in freely flowing water of streams, canal, rivers etc. In a current study, blade shape and flow rates were used as the basis for an experimental assessment of a single- stage savanious horizontal water turbine.
