Abstract: Chitosan-salicylaldehyde polymer derivatives were formed via chitosan modification. These polymers were synthesized through inclusion with β-cylcodextrine and doping with ZnO nanoparticles to give pseudopolyrotaxane and Chs-Sal/ZnO NPs composite, respectively.
