Abstract:Chitosan (Ch)-salicylaldehyde (Sal) polymer derivatives were formed via chitosan modification. These polymers were synthesized through inclusion with β-cylcodextrine (β-CD) and doping with zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) to give pseudopolyrotaxane and Chs-Sal/ZnO NPs composite, respectively.
