Abstract:Osteoporosis is a metabolic disease characterized by bone density and trabecular bone loss. Bone loss may affect dental implant osseointegration in patients with osteoporosis. To promote implant osseointegration in osteoporotic patients, we further used a nonthermal atmospheric plasma (NTAP) treatment device previously developed by our research group.
