Novel Schiff base cobalt(ii) phthalocyanine with appliance of MWCNTs on GCE: enhanced electrocatalytic activity behaviour of α-amino acids

Abstract: A novel CoTANImMMPPc complex was synthesized using a precursor protocol and characterized via electroanalytical and spectroscopic techniques with enhanced electrocatalytic behaviour of α-amino acids.

“…Another study marked the first use of a dextrin-cysteine Schiff base (DCS) for electrochemical and fluorescent detection of mercury(II), exhibiting an electrochemical limit of detection of less than 1 nM . Capable of detecting more than just ions, sometimes Schiff bases are used to fabricate metal complexes on electrodes, such as nickel or cobalt Schiff base complexes, in order to sense molecular analytes.…”

“…Moreover, the electrical conductivity of Cu–Co 3 O 4 /MWCNTs/GCE was found to be approximately 3 orders of magnitude higher than that of Cu–Co 3 O 4 /GCE, because the modified GCE acts as a current-carrying conductor and it allows rapid electron transfer in solution. 57–59…”

[57][58][59] 3.9 Adsorption study Adsorption methods have been used to remove dyes, but the low capacity of some adsorbent materials remains a major problem. This study aims to compare photocatalytic degradation and adsorption studies.…”

“…It is reasonable to consider that the formation of phthalocyanine rings contributed to the excellent thermal properties. 18,[26][27][28] Powder X-ray diffraction patterns of FeTCAPc, FeTClBCTCAPc and FeTClBCTCAPc-MWCNT complexes were obtained using Cu-Kα radiation (λ = 1.542 Å) and are shown in…”
