Novel use of a uterine patch repair of an obstructed obturator hernia

Abstract:We report the case of a female in her nineties who developed a small bowel obstruction secondary to an obturator hernia. Our case describes reduction and repair of the hernia by utilising the uterine cornu as a patch to the obturator canal.
