“…16,78,[80][81][82] Besides, the N 2 selectivity for Mn-, Cu-, Fe-, V-, Cr-, Zr-, and Ce-TiO 2 was also consistent with experimental results showing that Mn-, Cu-TiO 2 had poor N 2 selectivity, while Fe-, V-, Cr-, Zr-, and Ce-TiO 2 had high N 2 selectivity at high temperatures. 16,26,31,80 However, some transition metaldoped TiO 2 catalysts in our study were inconsistent with the experimental results, such as Co-31 and Y-TiO 2 (ref. 79) with low activity at low temperatures.…”

“…For comparison, the experimental data for NH 3 -SCR activity on metal-doped/supported on TiO 2 from the literature 5,12,16,23,24,26,31,33,[78][79][80][81][82][83] and our calculated results are listed in Table 3. We used the temperature at 50% NO conversion (T 50 ) to present the activity.…”

“…According to our previous research, the strong acid of W–Zr-O x /TiO 2 catalyst corresponded to Brønsted acid, and the weak acid corresponded to Lewis acid. 23 Therefore, it could be guessed that citric acid monohydrate provided a reducing atmosphere during the roasting process, which reduced the number of hydroxyl groups on the catalyst surface, thereby reducing the number of Brønsted acid. It was precisely because of the decrease in the amount of Brønsted acid that the NO conversion of the 5C-WZ/T, 10C-WZ/T and 15C-WZ/T catalysts at 600 °C was reduced.…”

“…[20][21][22] In our previous work, it proved that W-Zr-O x /TiO 2 can be applied to SCR at high temperature. 23 However, TiO 2 was used directly as the carrier in the previous study. WO 3 and ZrO 2 were not uniformly dispersed on the surface of the carrier, and the pores of the catalyst were not rich enough.…”

“…Nevertheless, the N 2 selectivity decreases at high temperatures. Furthermore, the release of toxic V 2 O 5 at high temperatures creates another environmental issue [14]. Therefore, developing high performance and eco-friendly catalysts to perform effective SCR denitration turns out to be a key step for the success of this process.…”
