Nuclear Power Reactor- An Overview

Abstract: Nuclear energy is the second-highest producer of carbon-free electricity after hydropower. Currently, nuclear energy is generated from fission- where the nuclei of an atom split into several parts; however, research on the energy generation from fusion is ongoing. Nuclear reactors are termed as heart of this process. This paper reviews the major nuclear reactor involved in these reactors' power generation and working and provides a broader aspect of the GEN-IV reactor.
