“…Generally, when the vehicle is very close to the crack the value of T-stress is positive that results in reduction of overlay resistance against crack growth. However, when the vehicle is far enough from the crack in its left or right hand side, the value of T-stress becomes negative which can increase even the load bearing capacity of the cracked overlay based on the principals of mixed mode fracture theories and previous published papers [25][26][27][28][29][30][31][32][33][34].
