Numerical Analysis of Aluminum Cellular Beams with Cells of Different Arrangement

Abstract: The paper presents a numerical analysis of cellular beams with cells of different arrangement. The ADINA System based on the Finite Element Method (FEM) is used in the calculations. The beams made of 6061-T6 aluminum alloy are analysed. Such beams are used in civil engineering and aircraft industry as load-bearing parts.
