Numerical Approximations of Flow Induced Vibrations of Vocal Folds

Abstract: Abstract. The paper focus on mathematical modelling of incompressible fluid flow interacting with vibrations of an elastic vocal fold. The flow in moving domain is modelled by the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations written in the Arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian (ALE) form.
