Numerical investigation of fuel temperature effects on the cavitation within a single-hole diesel nozzle

Abstract: Abstract. Based on Homogeneous Equilibrium Model combined with full cavitation model, the cavitation flow inside a single-hole diesel nozzle is simulated. In order to analyse the effect of the fuel temperature increase on the characteristics of the internal cavitating flow, the inception and development of cavitation inside the diesel nozzle were analysed separately.
