“…For dealing with this issue, STAR-CD uses some one-equation turbulence models to perform the simulations for the regions of y + < 10.0. Through the sensitive studies of the one-equation turbulence models for the heat transfer of SCW, in [9] it indicated that the Hassid and Poreh in [18] model would be the best to describe the flow and heat transfer of SCW within the near wall regions.
