Abstract:In this study, the acoustic damping performances of the dual Helmholtz resonators were numerically evaluated using a 3D model. The grazing flow passes tangentially through the resonator neck, with a Mach number range of 0 ≤ Ma ≤ 0.1. The numerical model operates by solving the linearized Navier–Stokes equations.
